End of life for ArcGIS Desktop 10.3.x

What’s happening?

Beginning December 01, 2020, Esri will retire and no longer support ArcGIS Desktop version 10.3.x.

What does this mean?

GEOGRAPH only supports CrescentLink on the versions of ArcGIS Desktop that Esri supports. Starting on December 01, 2020, future versions of CrescentLink will require a minimum version of ArcGIS Desktop 10.4.1 to be installed.

What should I do?

Any release of CrescentLink 5.0.x that was released prior to December 01, 2020 will continue to work on ArcGIS Desktop 10.3.x.  Only versions of CrescentLink released after December 01, 2020 will require ArcGIS Desktop 10.4.x or higher to be installed.

We recommended that you upgrade to the latest supported version of both ArcGIS Desktop and CrescentLink to get the best experience from each platform. If you cannot upgrade due to compatibility issues with another extension, please reach out to the vendor of that extension and request that they update their supported versions of ArcGIS Desktop.

Where can I learn more?

Esri hosts a Product Life Cycle for all of their products if you would like to learn more.  You can also view GEOGRAPH’s Product Life Cycle in the help center on our support portal.
